Christmas Goodie Bags

OK, this little project has kept me busy for the last week or two - I've got 12 of these Christmas Gift Bags ready to go for the Titirangi Mum's Twilight Market tonight, and about 8-10 more that aren't completed yet but won't be far away.

Each bag contains a matching set of 6 mini gift-cards, a couple of candy canes, and of course the gorgeous matching carry bag.  Envelopes also available.

These are the ideal gift bag for a kindy or school teacher/s - a wee matching card for each teacher, and you can fill the bag with baking, sweets, craft supplies, packets of seeds or whatever tickles your fancy as the perfect gift for Christmas this year.

Due to limited stock, these are only available at the Christmas Markets!!  Don't miss out, come and see me at:

- Titirangi Mum's Craft Market, 1 December, 6-9pm, Kaurliands School, Atkinson Rd, Titirangi
- Crafternoon Tea, 3 December, 10am-3pm, Trinity Methodist Church, Kingsland
- Matakana Christmas Market, 9 December, 5:30 - 9:00pm, Matakana Village

Christmas Markets

Some busy times are coming up for Tiny Kiwi!  I'll be doing 3x Christmas Markets in the next week or two, so for the last couple of weeks I've been a busy beaver making some exciting new christmas stock.  Still have a lot to do before the first Market on Thursday night if I'm honest!!!

Twlight Market, Thursday 1st December, 6-9pm at Kaurilands School, Atkinson Rd, Titirangi:

Crafternoon Tea in Kingsland, Saturday December 3rd, 10am-3pm:

Matakana Christmas Market, Matakana Village, Friday 9th Dec, 5-10pm:

I think that is enough excitement for one day, I will upload some new photos of what will be for sale at the markets tomorrow!

Summer is on the way!

Summer is my favourite time of year.  I love the warm weather, long evenings, the lead-up to Christmas, the anticipation of a beach holiday, the smell of sunscreen or fresh-cut grass, special time with friends and family, BBQ's and salads and all things warm and good.

But when I look at Christmas themed pictures, stories, goodies, even Christmas Carols - they're full of Northern Hemisphere images.  Snow-topped pine trees, snow-topped Gingerbread houses, Snowmen, Snowglobes, sledding and penguins in the snow - its winter winter winter!  I'm sure a White Christmas is quite magical (actually, I know it is, I spent a Christmas in Germany as a teen) but our New Zealand Christmases are really something special too.

This month I have released a range of 100% New Zealand Made tshirts celebrating the New Zealand summer season.  Jandals, Ice-creams, Cricket and of course a Christmas Tree!  I would love to hear your ideas on some other really kiwiana images you'd like to see on some clothing for your little ones.

Christmas Cards are on the way too!
